PracticalCME Medical Training

Since 2008, PracticalCME Medical Training has excelled in small group, live CME-accredited training in wellness medicine (BHRT, Weight Loss) and aesthetic services (Sclerotherapy, Botulinum Toxin, Dermal Fillers, Platelet-Rich Plasma, Liposuction).  In 2012, they began FAST TRACK (TM) training which blends online learning with live hands-on to better prepare their attendees for practicing their new skill as soon as they return home.  PracticalCME offered the first-ever CME-accredited Cosmetic PRP Training in 2014, and the first-ever Blended CME PDO Thread Lift Training in 2019.  The remain the only BTX/Filler, PRP, and Sclerotherapy CME training that offers hands-on with real product and limits class size to 6 or fewer attendees.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”482″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” onclick=”custom_link” img_link_target=”_blank” link=”http://www.hansbiomed.com/eng/”][vc_column_text]

Headquartered in Daejeon, Korea, HansBiomed is a world leader in aesthetic medicine.  They are a leading innovator and producer of allograft tissue, silicone polymers and medical devices used in the wound healing and plastic surgery industry.

In North America, they are best known for their MINT PDO threads, including the only FDA-approved barbed PDO threads that have the barbs molded into the thread instead of cut.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”404″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” onclick=”custom_link” img_link_target=”_blank” link=”https://mintpdo.com/”][vc_column_text]

MINT PDO offers a line of smooth threads and twist PDO threads.  What sets MINT apart from others is their ability to mold the barbs into their PDO thread materials.  These degrade slower and maintain their tensile strength longer than sutures with cut barbs.

The barbs are virtually unchanged at 30 days (middle photo) and still have holding power even at 90 days (right photo).  Their long MINT EASY is tailor-made for submental cases and their thinner MINT FINE is great for foreheads and cases with thinner subcutaneous fat layers.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
